Transition is a 3rd year BA interim Fine Art Show, curated by students at the Cambridge School of Art as part of their Major Project module. This exhibition is an excellent opportunity for the third-year students, prior to the degree show in June, to present their ongoing work as it is an important staging post in their development. This show demonstrates the student’s independent creative projects which have been researched imaginatively and has been developed in convergent and diverse ways.

The work presents a further development of their practice as well as a deeper sense of professionalism with a wide range of stylistic, investigative and ideological approaches

The Private View of Transition will coincide with the Private View of the Children’s Book Illustration exhibition in the main Ruskin Gallery. Both exhibitions are open to all members of the public.
