From analogue to agency: Sookio founder shares insights into a career in media and marketing.

After graduating from ARU in 1997, Sue Keogh joined a small radio production company where she helped make specialist music programmes for BBC Radio 2 – all at a time when editing was still done using tape and razorblades and the BBC’s digital department was known as ‘New media’.

After becoming an editor on one of their sites she moved to, and then to Yahoo, Aol and Magic FM as a web editor before founding her own digital marketing agency in 2008, Sookio. Based on Mill Road – a stone’s throw from the Cambridge campus – Sookio specialises in strategy, training and content creation, such as video production and copywriting. Sue will share insights from a career straddling analogue to digital and offer tips to students looking to progress into media and marketing after graduating..
